DIY Standing Desk 👇🏻 I’ve always wanted a standing desk but the ones I liked were either way too expensive or just looked super basic… so I built my own (this is my 4th one btw) and I’ll never go back here’s how to make it: 1. get standing desk legs just buy the frame/legs only (Amazon has a lot of good ones) → make sure they’re heavy duty (mine supports ~300 lbs) 2. choose a solid wood countertop this is the key part I used an acacia wood kitchen countertop with a live edge – looks way better than typical desks – feels premium – super sturdy 3. attach the legs to the countertop – place frame upside down – measure + align – drill pilot holes – screw everything in 4. upgrade your setup (optional but worth it) – cable management tray underneath – power splitter (trust me you’ll need it) – monitor arms / accessories all my cables run into one place and only one clean cable goes to the wall = no mess it’s honestly super easy and comes out 2x cheaper than most branded standing des...
