ποΈThe ancient Hindus believed that harming or exploiting animals creates negative karma, which eventually leads to an equal magnitude of consequence in the future, including being reborn as the very animals you brought suffering to. Could this also mean suffering by being economically involved?
The belief that the soul or consciousness continues on after death, and is reborn into a new body or form, has been a central part of spiritual practice and philosophy through many ancient civilizations.
What's more is that the Laws of Physics state that energy cannot be created or destroyed. So when the body is destroyed the eternal energy of consciousness has to transfer or be converted somewhere else. Could this be supporting this ancient belief?
If this is true, then when you stop economically supporting and consuming animal products, you directly reduce the probability that you could be born into a literal HELL on earth in factory farms...
