🚣‍♂️ Kayaking towards Mount Monadnock on a winding river was the perfect mix of epic and peaceful, what a sight! Fun fact: it’s actually the #1 most climbed mountain in all of the Americas and the 2nd most in the world. Google it, it’s true! We just had to conquer it, and our 2am wake-up call was so worth it! Staying at a cozy Airbnb with mountain views, we explored Peterborough, a humble town with great food and super friendly locals. The Waterhouse terrace was a standout favorite and the Harrisville General Store’s key lime pie was next level good! We also had the pleasure of watching fireworks on the lake, which made us feel like true locals. Our adventure ended with a visit to a falconry where we saw hawks up close – an unexpected highlight. Monadnock was full of surprises.
