This week we escaped to the countryside for a one-night stay at The Hare & Hounds in Newbury and it was genuinely such a lovely experience. If you’re looking to step away from London for a little breather, this place is worth bookmarking. 🤍 The hotel has that classic English heritage charm -from the printed curtains to the cushions, the artwork, and all those little details that make a space feel thoughtfully curated. Our room was warm, spotless and incredibly comfortable. But my absolute favourite part? The restaurant.🍴 Whenever I travel, I’m always a bit unsure about hotel dining… but here, the food is honestly fantastic. Proper flavour, generous portions, beautifully cooked. Newbury has a real gem. The location is great too - very close to the town centre, so it’s an easy choice for a short getaway.
