I used to bring my laptop to dates. Not because I wanted to. Because I didn’t know how to separate work from everything else. Here’s how I now navigate dating: 1️⃣ Don’t apologize for your schedule. Be upfront early instead of over-explaining later. 2️⃣ At least one evening a week that is dedicated to you and not work. I keep Thursdays open as much as I can. 3️⃣ Work isn’t a personality trait. Complaining about how much you work is a quick way to turn someone off. Talk about your interests and ambitions outside of the workplace.
