The Mu or big Eye emperor. It is in the south east Asia what is for the Mediterranean spearos the famous Dentex. From my point of view it is even more difficult to catch here. Very territorial but also more shy than any other fish I have seen before in this region. Its behavior may slightly change from areas to others but here in Amed this fish is used to fishing and spearos. In 2 month I have tried evrything; dives up to 40 meters, dive time exceeding the 4.30 min, at list 20 different type of approach, I manage to get closer and my technique got more and more sharp but I needed this extra half metre that I could not break and this is where the andrespearguns speargun made specialy with the characteristics requested for deep dive and accurate shot played a crucial role. I saw 3 of them on 3 successive dives and as presented, I got them. Super tasty fish, probably the best here in Asia.
