There are over 120 types of dementia and families like mine are living with one of them. Alzheimer’s is the most common form, and it’s no surprise it receives the lion’s share of attention and funding. With women making up two-thirds of those diagnosed worldwide, the urgency is real. But it’s not the only one. Other related dementias deserve visibility too. We need the spotlight to be heard, to be counted, and to be supported in the ways that matter.
