Group classes are hurting your HYROX time Not because they are bad. But because they are incomplete. Most group classes lack two things HYROX demands: progressive overload and enough running. If the workout changes every day, nothing is being built intentionally. No progression in running volume. No progression in aerobic capacity. No progression in strength that actually carries over to race day. HYROX races last 75 to 100 minutes. Most group classes last 60 minutes, and that includes a warm up and a cool down. The math does not work. That is why athletes feel strong early and fade late. Their training never prepares them for sustained output. Now here is the important part.
