The number one tip for every HYROX station
Every station has one cue that gives you the biggest return on energy, form, and speed. If you master these eight, your entire race feels different.
1. SkiErg
Pull to your pockets. This keeps the handle path efficient and prevents wasted energy by pulling too far.
2. Sled Push
Keep your feet back. The more you angle your body, the more force you put into the sled instead of straight down into the floor.
3. Sled Pull
Keep your arms straight. Straight arms turn your body into a lever system and let your legs and hips do the work.
4. Burpee Broad Jumps
Use the walk up method. Step up instead of jumping up to save energy, lower impact, and stay consistent across all 80 meters.
5. Rower
Drive with your legs. The legs produce far more power than the arms. A strong leg drive sets your pace and keeps your stroke efficient.
6. Farmer Carries
Use gloves. Grip is the limiter. Gloves reduce slip, preserve forearm endurance, and let you move faster....
