Indochina Stop #3: Laos 🇱🇦 Spent my birthday in Vientiane—easily the chillest capital I’ve been to. Came here ‘cause laotable from chef_lalita in SF is one of my favorite lunch spots. Ended up finding golden temples, old French buildings, and stories from the communist days. After the revolution, a lot of people left, but those who stayed live simply and peacefully. Most folks I met work 2–3 jobs, but they’re super kind.
