Closed the day with 76 1/2” sockets on OLD 1.5” and 1” pipework to allow for pressure and temperature guages and some test points for future buildings being added onto the districts heating network. To handle the new works the pressure should be at about 6bar. Right now it’s at 2.5 bar operating pressure. All sockets have been welded onto a live system running at pressure. Shutdowns only allowed for drilling and installing hardware. I started at 6:30am and finished at 2:30pm 2 runs on each socket do the math… ain’t nobody getting them done quicker than me 😏 #welding #pipewelder #esabelite #bestofthebest #
