This visit to the Emerald Buddha and The Grand Palace was something I had been looking forward to, but I never expected it to be this blissful. The place surrounded by so many people amidst the grandeur of golden spires and intricate murals, but a sense of peace and calmness always prevails over the place. It felt like a moment of renewal. A much-needed visit, and one I’ll always carry in my heart. 🙏 BTW our guide’s name was Sam, and funnily enough, many in our group kept calling me Sam too! He explained the place really well.
