After years of pedal building Ive designed these to be super efficient to build, repair and you can see, no fiddly footswitches or multiple pcbs like our standard range. Theres alot of out the box thinking gone into these products and lean manufacturing to enable a small team (me, Ben and my Dad) to build these. I think everyone thinks we are some huge company but we are a small family run business trying to run with the big boys. Theres no way designs like this can be done with through hole, its inefficient and too bulky and provides zero benefit. Theres alot of guys out there spreading false information saying TH components or wired off pots or footswitches provide more reliability. It simply is no ls not true. Even NOS chips and things like that. Again not true, infact they risk moisture ingress and failure as well as wide tolerance fluctuations.
