The head of Instagram Adam Mosseri recently spoke about the distinction between AI "slop" and entirely synthetic  content and "hybrid" content that utilises the best of AI and traditional art and short form film making. AI is just another tool in my artistic practice.  I use AI to animate my original paintings and drawings, augment and enhance my music and to prompt inspiration. I use a multitude of AI platforms.  Hedra, Midjourney, Runway, and Chat GPT, Meta AI and Suno. to name but a few. They are all extraordinary but in my experience ( Hedra aside ) 95 percent of what is generated I wont use.  At best AI generates "patchworks" of useable content.  I then stitch that content into short form videos using master programmes like Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro and Logic Pro. AI does not make the creative process any easier but it has broken down the barrier to entry to short (and long form) film and music making.
