I kicked off my new Event art venture by drawing at Winmark Vineyards on the weekend. Drawing people from life is one of my passions. Some people prefer to be drawn from a photo so they can enjoy the event, others are happy to sit for me. It's a beautiful way to connect with people. The sitter is my willing captive for the time it takes for me to draw them and I've met and had so many interesting conversations with people in the process. Winmark is a stunning property at Broke, in the Hunter Valley and is home to an award winning vineyard, art gallery, sculpture walk and next level accommodation and event facilities. I was lucky enough to be hosted by the owner Karin Adcock who is the brains and powerhouse behind this extraordinary place.
