I know we’ve touched on this before, but as part of my new video series I want to tackle this turbulent subject head-on. The comments are going to be “fun,” no doubt, but that’s part of the point. This series is about the current state of the hair industry and the pillars of pain we’re all feeling right now. The maths is broken, we have zero regulation, and thanks to the collision of social media trends with a flatlining economy, our high streets are oversaturated. Why am I talking about this? Because the only way to fix these issues is to start discussing them openly—and social media is one of the best platforms we’ve got for that. I believe there are solutions, but the few can’t fix it for the many.
