If you’re close to me… you know two things very well about me. 1. I dont do anything for “fun” it’s always a competition. I don’t care if I’m playing you in Monopoly, Im playing to win. It rubs some people the wrong way but I am certainly never going to apologize for it. Im hard wired to compete. Some people don’t get that and honestly thats OK by me… 2. The closer you get to me… the harder I bust your chops and the more ruthless I am about it. It’s my language. That’s how I communicate to people I care about. A lot of people from the outside don’t quite understand it but the ones that do speak it fluently right back to me. It’s one of my favorite things about our culture at 1st Phorm… it’s competitive and at times, ruthless. Im not quite sure where that stems from but I sure am glad it’s that way.
