Parents… One of my biggest frustrations was and still is getting unwarranted parental advice quite honestly from parents you have no desire to be like. With that being said, The most common piece, “don’t blink,it goes faster than you think” is so true and as much as I hated hearing it… i should have listened. Knowing what i know now…I look back and can’t help but have some regret. I think I did good but know for certain I could have done better. I could have embraced this stage more than I did. I could have snuggled them, hugged them, kissed them and simply laid with them a little more than I did. I should have forced myself to take more time with them. And one thing for sure, I wish I had more of it… it truly is a magical period of time. I certainly wouldn’t have regretted spending more time with them that’s for sure.
