This is not the future. This is now.
In this towering facility, in China thousands of pigs are stacked floor after floor like products on shelves—engineered for efficiency, not empathy. In the image above, a pig is dragged to their death. And while this might seem distant or shocking, the truth is that here in the UK, pigs are routinely lowered into gas chambers where they thrash and scream, fighting for breath in their final moments.
This isn’t a “them” problem. It’s a system problem.
Factory farming knows no borders. It’s a global machinery of suffering, propped up by profit and silence. Whether it's in China, the UK, or anywhere else, animals are reduced to units of production—feeling beings turned into meat behind closed doors.
Please don’t use this space to fuel xenophobia. Focus your outrage on the system—not the geography.
There is another way. A kinder one. And we can choose it.
