Jasleen and Nava couldn’t believe their luck. The Vidyan heretic operatives, one human and the other a droid, had spent months shaping their escape from Sedna with dedicated precision. Their assignment had been simple yet complex in its execution: aid Satvr, the embedded heretic consciousness. And they had. Vast amounts of data, accumulated quietly by Satvr beneath the nose of Vidyan monitoring, were now in their possession. Extracted cleanly. Timed to the second. The desert rendezvous was scripted. Pavlo, another heretic operative, would collect them the moment they revealed their coordinates. The stealth beacon was designed for exactly that purpose. But Vidyan surveillance had already noted unusual movement within the Vidyan Economic Zone on Sedna. Patrols were tightening their scans. Then the storm came.
