Doctors told me I would never perform again if I didn't have knee surgery - can you see why now in this #TBT? lol acoustic standing-still sets are just not my style - I spent too many years training to be able to perform at this level . . .  I'm watching this back now like damn girl you was really up there under them hot stage lights in a fur coat (shoutouts to Grandma Jo for that) and six inch platform heels, dancing while singing and rapping LIVE (not lip syncing) . . . The process of getting back on stage is beginning; it's still been a blessing to just sit down and build for a minute.
