MET MONDAYS ✨ These are my top tips on networking at ANY event, not just the Met Gala 😁 1.Anyone at events is there for business. As glam as they look at the event and online, trust me, no one is there for the good of their health. They are there for the next business deal. Personally, going to any event aimlessly is not for me. 2.It’s not about who you know, it’s about who remembers you. Get talking to people, and you will find your tribe and the people you connect with. Some people will understand your business, and some won’t, and that’s ok. 3.Listen more than you speak 👀 It took me a while to learn this, but it’s very effective. Most people just want to be heard, and you don’t know everything, so learn from them. 4.Follow up with people. This is so important. Send an email or text letting them know your conversation was important and that you listened to them. 5.Always be switched on. Yes, get your content, but don’t lose sight of your goals.
