Lesson to my not so little baby boy: Him: Mommy this looks hard, I’m can’t do it …I’ll fall. Me: It is hard… but I want YOU TO BELIEVE that YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS! sure you’ll probably fall but just get back up and try again. Trust yourself. Him: Mommy I fell 6 times but I’m doing it, I’m skating, Look at meee. *I cheered and clapped for him each time he fell and got back up. I’m proud of him but also proud of myself. I’m a recovering helicopter mom 🥴🫣😂. Today was really special, we shared another “first“ together. Ice Skating is one of my favorites things. Before becoming a mom I would go at least twice a week.
