People like watching movies about social inequality or discrimination, such as racism, sexism, the caste system, the class system, women's exploitation, patriarchy, etc. They might find these movies interesting and feel sympathy for the characters facing discrimination. But when it comes to changing their own behavior or standing up against discrimination in real life, they don't do anything. They just keep watching these movies without trying to make things better. If we observe carefully, these types of movies are hitting the box office, and directors and producers are capitalizing on them.
