Sometimes when things get overwhelming or I feel like I’m not doing enough I remind myself that little me, Cassandra from the foster care system or 20 year old me… broke, pregnant & scared, who was in such a toxic abusive environment- in no way shape or form ready to raise a newborn baby a few days after my 21st birthday. Would be extremely proud of what she becomes down the road🤍 I would reassure little me that she’ll get everything she dreamed of and wanted because she’s resilient ✨ That it was never on her, but in her.. and all through God’s abundance, protection, love and grace. #TheBalancedMom
