• Before/After: “Coffee Time” Edit This was my very first attempt at filming with Apple Log, and, as expected, the learning curve hit me hard! While working on post-production, I realized two critical mistakes that made the process a bit of a headache: 1. Underexposed footage. I didn’t get my exposure right, so the shots ended up darker than they should’ve been 🥲. Lesson one: always double-check your exposure settings before hitting record. 2. Wrong shutter speed. I completely forgot to adjust it, which resulted in heavy motion blur, especially on my hand during movement. This little oversight turned rotoscoping into an absolute nightmare 😮‍💨. Despite the hiccups, I managed to pull it off and learned some valuable lessons for the future.
