Today is the day of Sveta Petka. (Paraskevi of Iași), who lived in the 10th century in the desert as a hermit, formerly from a wealthy family. Just like Buddha. She was my mothers favorite Saint, and her icon was with her on her last journey. (on the second pic you see what i prepared for her last journey) to be honest, first i liked that icon very much because of that cool minimalistic ascetic goth appearance, without knowing about her story. And those eyes in the bowl.. Well, something is calling me, so many coincidences connected to this Saint. i am supersticious, very, so i dont know what to tell about things that lay before me, or better: that i wish, that should lay before me. .. But i can manifest here. There is this Sveta Petka monastery in the village Izvor, where they take care of disabled orphans, the ones that dont have anybody, and who are not needed by anybody.
