Going through old film gear and almost got rid of some old ARRI lights that date back to the 80s. These things are heavy, clunky, and burn so hot you can get fourth degree burns if touched with bare skin. Also, could catch fire and burn a place down in no time. But there is nothing like the quality of these lights, there is a reason Hollywood has shot with these for over 100 years. LED lighting has come along way but nothing IMO as of now compares.
