Photographed the Travis Roy Hockey Classic today benchmarkintlarena and it was something truly special. - BG: The Travis Roy Foundation was created after Travis Roy was paralyzed 11 seconds into his first collegiate hockey shift at Boston University in 1995. Instead of stepping away from the game, he turned his story into a mission of raising money to support spinal cord injury research and provide grants for adaptive equipment. Being able to capture an event that blends friendly competition, community, and purpose was incredible. The energy in the rink, the support from families in the stands, and the meaning behind every shift out there made it more than just a game. It was powerful, emotional, and honestly beautiful to witness through my lens.
