I’m pleased to share that I’ve successfully completed the Duty to Care in Esports course with the british_esports Federation.
This programme provides essential guidance for anyone involved in the esports ecosystem who is committed to building safer, healthier, and more inclusive environments across our industry.
The course covered critical areas including:
• Safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults
• Understanding and supporting Child Rights
• Promoting Online Safety
• Raising awareness of Cyber Crime and its prevention
• Enhancing Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
• Supporting Mental Health
• Promoting Health and Wellbeing
As esports continues to grow, so does our collective responsibility to ensure player welfare, digital safety, and inclusive practice remain at the forefront of everything we do.
I would highly recommend anyone working within esports — whether in education, community programmes, competitive teams, or governance — to take the time to complete this ...
