After being self-admittedly math and technology averse my entire life, I’ve finally taken the plunge and started learning coding. Currently having fun with Jupyter! One big lesson I’ve learned over the years is this: What you resist, might become your passion. I used to hate science too as a student, thinking my artsy and literary side was enough. Now, as a climate journalist, I read dozens of research papers everyday and love breaking it down for people. Ironically, the familiar pressure we all face in India to pursue sciences as student is what initially drove me away. Now that there’s no one to pressurise, I realise how much I genuinely enjoy it!
