The agreement brings together Kinectrics’ nuclear lifecycle services with Nuclean’s local engineering and project capabilities, focusing on Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and Advanced Modular Reactor (AMR) projects, the Turkish company said Monday. It also covers potential cooperation in the production and supply of modular reactor components, as well as broader #nucleartechnology services. Nuclean board member Koray Tuncer recalled that Türkiye has set a target of reaching 5 gigawatts in SMR capacity by 2050, adding that this corresponds to at least 16 SMRs.
