If I could name one strength that shaped who I am today, it would be perseverance.
People call it luck.
But luck doesn’t get you through the nights when you question everything.
Or the mornings you start again when no one’s cheering.
When I first moved abroad in my mid-20s, I had no clue how to handle German paperwork, the job market, or taxes.
Still, I applied for hundreds of jobs.
Worked and studied until 3 a.m., night after night.
Dealt with cultural differences and felt like an outsider.
But those years built my resilience more than any training ever could.
And I’m sure you’ve done the same.
You took a chance when it made no sense.
You stayed when it was easier to quit.
You figured out things on your own and grew through every mistake.
Most of what people see as “luck” is just someone quietly showing up for their own life -making uncomfortable choices, taking risks, and betting on themselves when no one else did.
