We drove 3,000 km across Europe. But I never made it to the end. 😏 One day you’re hiking mountain trails. The next day you can’t even walk to the bathroom. That’s been my reality this week. Last week, we drove from Turkey to near Bordeaux, France. A 3,000 km journey through Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and France. It was supposed to end in a silent retreat with fresh air in the countryside. Instead, it ended with a broken ankle just two hours before arrival. Suddenly, I’m reminded what a gift it is to… → Walk down stairs on your own → Make your own breakfast → Take a shower when you want → Carry your own bag → Not need help for every small thing This accident is testing me in many ways: My resilience. My patience. My ability to let go of control. But it’s also awakening something else: A deep gratitude for the things I used to take for granted. Being able to carry your own body weight?
