Makeup has always been my second passion.
You won’t see me wearing a lot of it most days, but I’ve always loved the process—getting creative, appreciating the beauty, and bringing out what’s already there in someone.
In 2018, I decided to take this passion further. I wanted to step out of my corporate bubble and do something totally different.
So, I spent six months studying and practicing to become a certified makeup artist.
Every Sunday was dedicated to creativity, beauty, and learning something new. It was such a refreshing break from my usual routine.
But like any skill, without practice, you lose a bit of it over time.
Still, I’ve kept that creative eye. I did my research and had a good feeling about this investment.
And on my wedding day, I was reminded of why I love it so much.
