Skinny is back. And I have to say something. I grew up in the 90s wanting to literally cut off half my legs so they would be smaller. That was the standard. That was the goal. And I’ve spent the last 20 years as a nutritionist helping women recover from that era and teaching them that muscle, strength and longevity are the real prize. Then I saw clips from the red carpets this season. Women who are visibly wasting away being celebrated. Medications developed for type 2 diabetics being used by women who simply do not want to eat. Muscle disappearing. Bones thinning. And everyone calling it a glow up. I am 49. I am 5’3” and 115lbs and I am still 20% body fat. I hip thrust 275lbs. I eat enough to fuel that. My hormones are balanced, my bone density is strong, and I am aging in a way I am genuinely proud of. But here is what keeps me up at night. My teenage daughter is watching this, less so my 22 year old. But the point is, a whole generation of young women is watching this. And...
