What I did differently during my darkest chapter in perimenopause (and why it matters for ALL high-performing women) đź’Ş
Court dates. Family law battles. Building a custom home on the other side of the country during a pandemic. A million decisions hitting me at once. And I was deep in perimenopause.
Everything felt out of control.
Here’s what I knew after 20 years in this work: Stress is what throws us off during perimenopause. But more than anything, it’s how we self-sabotage and separate ourselves from our bodies when the pressure mounts.
That’s exactly when we need to lean IN, not pull away.
So while chaos swirled around me, I doubled down on:
• Morning workouts (non-negotiable)
• Proper nutrition to fuel my brain
• Boundaries that protected my energy
• Sleep as my secret weapon
Because your body is there to help you and protect you. When you have her back, she has yours.
The result? I didn’t experience high cortisol, sleepless nights, or everything falling apart like so many...
