The last destination of the launch of the English book was in Chennai at the prestigious Narada Gana Sabha. Organized beautifully by VIGIL & prabhakhaitanfoundation the event drew a large crowd of book enthusiasts & culture lovers. Preceded by children reciting Thevaram, the chief guests for the evening Shri S Gurumurthy, chief editor of Thuglag, Padma Vibhushan & dance exponent Dr Padma Subramanyam & renowned Carnatic vocalist Padma Shri Smt arunasairam.carnaticmusic enlivened the evening with their thoughtful interventions; Aruna Mami even sang a line from "Vishweshwar Darshan Kar Chalo Mann tum Kashi". An interesting panel discussion followed where I was quizzed by journalist Smt sampathjanani & Advocate of Madras High court Shri Aditya Reddy, & a discerning audience. A great way for the curtains to fall on what has been 5 weeks of high octane book tours across the length & breadth of India.
