Where time stands still & history remains frozen in intricately carved stones that have remained as sentinels of time, a witness to centuries of change; of multitudes of people; of bloody wars & of joyous festivities & celebrations! And yet, almost God-like, remained mute spectators to this march across time, concealing so many secrets & stories within them ! Was a walk into this past at the 1500+ year old Bhoganandishwara temple with influences of Ganga, Hoysala, Chola and Vijayanagara styles of architecture. The best part was getting locked in by mistake in this ancient building & somehow managing to scamper out in ladders specially brought in !
