It was an evening of myriad emotions & a cascade of memories. 15 years after my first book Splendours of Royal Mysore: The untold story of the Wodeyars was released in 2008, a commemorative anniversary edition was brought out by rupa_publications . The new edition was unveiled in front of a select audience in a tastefully put together event by wmggroup - rajeshmysoresadashiva , Sreekara, Madan, Anagha & others at the itcgardenia . It was a great fortune to have the present scion of the Mysore royal family, Shri ykcwadiyar ji release this edition & speak about it. He has been ever so kind and gracious & even penned a thoughtful Foreword to this edition. Another dear friend and renowned journalist anand_narasimhan flew down all the way from Delhi to conduct a scintillating discussion on history & my new foundation the FIHCR.
