Being the eldest daughter out of 5 girls (in a Mexican family) meant that I was held responsible for a lot as a kid. I started babysitting at age 8 😳 that freaks me out just thinking about it. Anyways - being mature = being serious to me. And that translated as less joy because I didn’t make time/space for just plain fun. Which is why I love that my husband is the funniest guy I know and can help by pulling me in for more joy and craziness.
