Happy Nurses Week! This week, we will be highlighting our amazing nurse alums and current nursing student athletes. DID YOU KNOW: Creighton is one of a very small number of high-level volleyball programs that allows and encourages you to pursue nursing and play volleyball at the same time! You get to win championships and graduate in 4 years as a Nurse. First up is Lizzy Stivers, who was a defensive specialist for us from 2011-2016. She graduated from Creighton with her BSN-RN and immediately began her nursing career at CUMC Bergan Mercy on the labor and delivery unit. She is still there, now as the supervisor of the OB emergency department. A constant learner, Lizzy is back at Creighton pursuing a masters in nursing administration. #nurseweek
