It’s actually been a bit of a mad week when I think about it properly. Ended the South Africa trip over at Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years. Standing outside his actual cell… crazy. You read about it in books, you hear about it at school, but seeing it in person? Makes your own “problems” feel very small. We also headed to Camps Bay for sunset, unreal views. One of those moments where you just sit there thinking, this is why I built the life I did. Freedom. Options. Experiences. We went to my friend’s restaurant as well, Jan’s. He’s South African, absolutely smashed it with the place. I love seeing people from normal backgrounds build something special.
