A visit to the MAXXI Museum in Rome - a masterpiece by the late, great Zaha Hadid. The building has multiple perspective points, fluid lines, and fragmented geometries that in Hadid’s word ‘reflect the complexity of modern life’. Fifteen years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Zaha when she visited our store, LN-CC, in London. Not long after, she kindly wrote about us in the Financial Times - a gesture I’ll never forget.
