INCREDIBLE - Finally made it to Punta della Dogana here in Venice. A 17th-century customs house on the edge of the Grand Canal, reimagined by Tadao Ando in 2009. Ando transformed the space inserting clean, minimal forms into the building’s centuries-old frame. A space that exists perfectly between past and present. One the best examples I’ve ever seen.
