I had one of those moments today where my spirit said:
“Wow… he’s just like the old ones.
And I’m not repeating that pattern ever again.”
That’s real freedom.
Old me would’ve:
tried harder, shrank myself, over-explained, compared myself, begged to be seen.
This version of me?
She says:
“You didn’t hurt me because I wanted you.
You hurt me because you reminded me of what I USED to accept.
And I don’t accept that anymore.”
I’m single because I refuse to entertain men who project their shame onto women.
Men who haven’t healed their past, their choices, their felonies, their chaos —
but still try to make a woman feel “less than” to feel bigger.
A real woman doesn’t dim her light for an insecure man.
A real woman doesn’t shrink so a wounded man can feel tall.
A real woman doesn’t carry a man’s unhealed life on her back.
And I’m a real woman.
So no — I’m not f**king with that energy.
Not now. Not ever again.
This didn’t break me.
It cleared me.
