Watching her grow from a frightened, controlled girl trapped in an abusive relationship with Midas into a powerful, unapologetic badass is one of the most rewarding FMC arcs I’ve read. This is female rage, healing, and strength done right. And then there’s Slade 🔥🫠 who knows him know what I’m talking about 🤣 My number one book boyfriend. I genuinely thought no one could replace Rhysand… until Slade happened. Mature, resilient, broody, morally gray, strong-willed, with a dirty mouth and an aura that screams don’t mess with me.
