I was already having some focal seizures without realizing it when Echo started barking to alert. Ruben brought rescue meds and I took them to stop a big seizure from happening. Echo bark alerts to tonic clonic seizures so I knew we didn’t have long. We were successful in stopping it. These moments with Halstie are the hardest part about having epilepsy. She deserves to have a present mom without so much illness and it’s so heavy on my heart sometimes. Epilepsy steals so much from you. This is what it looks like trying to find your brain again once you’ve stopped an electrical storm.
