I honestly haven’t been doing the best with my seizures lately. You can see the bags under my eyes. I’ve been trying to avoid getting additional blood patches. My head has been a bit jumbled and my words aren’t coming out in the right order at times. Seizures (even the small focal ones) take a toll on you. However, I wanted to be here to support Miles amazing work. So thankful to be invited. I caught a short flight to LA because this film carries so much support and strength to those with Epilepsy. I met fourvalentines and she talked to me about her Levi. Levi passed due to SUDEP and there was a little tribute in the film for him. We talked for a bit and Echo gave her cuddles. For a moment she slipped “well no one wants to be around me because of the death”. I told her that epileptics WANT you to be heard more than anything because of that.
