This was at Los Angeles Airport — it takes a lot more energy than you would think to simply get on a plane with a service animal and chronic conditions — we do our best though. I can’t walk far distances sometimes or I faint and suffer a lot of pain due to VEDS. Echo is a great help. He alerts, he’s calm, ignores other dogs, curls up under the seat, and rides quietly. I always tell people, if you want a service dog for your disability, prepare to suddenly seem approachable.
